“A Body You Have Prepared For Me”

I have written before that the fulcrum point of the gospel of Christ is His cross; and this is true.

Yet it must also be said that the over-arching essence of the gospel is the resurrection power of the incarnate Word, whereby we are made partakers in the divine nature. For our hope is not only in the final atoning sacrifice for sins, but even now much more in the resurrection life of God in Christ, which overcomes the power of sin & death at work in us, for our conformity into His likeness.

For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, by much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved by His life.
Romans 5:10 (LEB)

For just as the Father has life in Himself, thus also He has granted to the Son to have life in Himself.
John 5:26 (LEB)

That Son of Man, hidden in ages past, through whom all things created have come into being; He is the true Tree of Life in the paradise of God. Of His branches are borne the leaves of the hidden manna and the fruit of God’s Life in every season. Of His mind is taught wisdom: the fear of the Lord and the knowledge of the Holy One. In His blood is written the testament of the better covenant; in His body is mediated the exchange of our death for His Life.

He made the One who did not know sin to be sin on our behalf, in order that we could become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (LEB)

Of all the Sons of God, only the uncreated Son of God’s very being is the divine person in whom the ministry of reconciliation must be mediated to the fallen sons of men.

Therefore the scriptures say,

No one has seen God at any time; the one and only, God, the One who is in the bosom of the Father – that One has made Him known.
John 1:18 (LEB)

And the apostle which wrote of the blood of that Christ as speaking “better things” than the blood of Abel, opens his entire treatise by writing not only of the blood of Christ speaking, but even the very person of Christ Himself:

In these last days He has spoken to us by a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
Hebrews 1:2 (LEB)

And of what does Christ’s person (more than only His blood) speak? It speaks of being a son both of God and of man.

For the Son by whom the Godhead made the world was always to be the Light of Life unto all men. As He was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, so was that last Adam indeed the first Son of Man. He was always to be the One by whom the man Adam and his wife Eve were to grow in the wisdom and knowledge of God, whose image they bore. He is the true Tree of Life from whose branch we became cut off by our lust for the fulfillment of self-ascension unto that which was not our place.

For no plan of God has changed; and by that Son of Man, with whom dwells all righteousness, He still has determined that the seed of men will yet overcome their estrangement from Eden; by taking upon Himself the likeness of sinful flesh, not only to atone for its sins as High Priest, but even to condemn sin in the flesh itself, “in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” (Rom 8:4 ESV)

This is to say that, although the serpent in his rebellion promised man apotheosis – even man, whose portion in Christ was already allotted to be theosis unto the likeness of the image of the invisible God – the plan of God’s mystery has still not been diverted in the least; but in Christ it rather prevails unto all of creation, and particularly unto men, without dilution or delay. For He has taken His own place as the new Adam at the right hand of the Head of Days, in whom all that are grafted into His lineage by way of the Spirit’s generation may begin to partake in the divine nature.

For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
Romans 8:22-23 (ESV)

Having been awakened from seep, we now groan for that which is only natural in God’s order. For in God’s design there is no tension between the human and divine natures intermingled in one person – such was the intended design for man. It is only sin and death that brings tension between the two. But Christ, being both fully God, and also more human than any man (being without sin), has restored the way for the whole creation to be transformed and made fit for His dwelling there, beginning with man, as He commanded at first in the garden.

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
Romans 8:24-25 (ESV)

In saying that we do not yet see it, the apostle Paul has the end result in mind. But our being saved through the hope of this end has begun already, and ought to be becoming manifest in each soul. There is no excuse for resignation to the seeming fatefullness of sin’s so easily continued presence. For then we render the sacrifice of Christ of no more use to us than the sacrifices of the old covenant – which were powerless to remove sins – of which one apostle said:

But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sin every year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Consequently, when Christ came into the world, He said,
“Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but a body have You prepared for Me; in burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God, as it is written of Me in the scroll of the book.'”
Hebrews 10:3-7 (ESV)

So we see that the greatest power of the cross is found in the nature of He who was hanged upon it: since in this particular matter He says not, “a cross you have prepared;” but rather in this instance, “a body you have prepared.”

For the death that He would die was in order to put an end to all atoning sacrifice and offering, and “to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness…” (Dan 9)
But the body in which He would live, die, and be resurrected was prepared in order to be the means through which God’s very Life and nature might be recapitulated in us, whose newness of life is being made after the likeness of the divinely natured Man, Christ, who is the firstfruits of the incarnate resurrection.

For by His death He put away the old; but in His resurrection He began to make all things new. For as the life is in the blood, so is it manifest in the body. And as by the spilling of His blood are our souls purchased, much more by the resurrection of His body are we being transfigured by the resurrection Life of His flesh, in whom we live – if indeed we have died with Him.

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that He opened for us through the curtain, that is, through His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Hebrews 10:19-22 (ESV)

“He who, by sheer inclination of His will, established the beginning of all creation, seen and unseen, before all the ages and before that beginning of created beings, had an ineffably good plan for those creatures.
The plan was for Him to mingle, without change on His part, with human nature by true hypostatic union, to unite human nature to Himself while remaining immutable, so that He might become a man, as He alone knew how, and so that He might deify humanity in union with Himself.
Also, according to this plan, it is clear that God wisely divided “the ages” between those intended for God to become human, and those intended for humanity to become divine.”

Just To Be Clear

If an organized group of Christians has been ratified on any paper except that of the Scriptures alone – which by the Spirit have already ordained and set forth in words the measure of Christ’s Body, which is in Spirit – then it has automatically become an entity separated unto itself.

Its totality has ceased fellowship with Christ the Head; and its members have cut themselves off from His sole authority by their own fellowship with it, and especially by their submission to it.

It does not matter how perfect its doctrine – it is cut off from Christ by nature of its existence as a ficticious entity, recognized in the Babylonian system of governance. For Christ has His own governance, which is not seen in the machinations of men, however well-intentioned they might be at first.

The true living Body of Christ is viewed by the organizations of men as an unpredictable and dangerous cancer to be removed; and so ought the true living Body view those false constructs of men which have been imposed upon it.

God’s occasional merciful visitations to His people in the midst of these constructs are not Him condoning their ways, but rather Him calling out His own unto Himself.

How easily we suppose that the declaration of “Christ alone” applies in some isolated manner only to the salvation of individual souls; when truly it is just as intrinsic to the ongoing function of HIS own Body as a whole.

None of the roles in what is generally called “the church” today, or even for much of its taught history, are biblically legitimate.

No more revivals.
No more reformations.

May its fall be biblical.

May God’s people both find and be found again.

This thing cannot die fast enough.
We have been grieving God for far too long.

Many who know His rule in their own lives long to see it honored in the life of His people between one another.

To remain in the true fellowship of the Father and the Son, one must break the fellowship which contradicts it – not with known brothers & sisters, if it can be helped; though many are yet unwilling to trust the Lord with any measure of His Body, and it cannot presently be helped.

Let God be honored first, and let each one choose this day whom they will serve.

Let God be true, and every man a liar.

The Lie Of Free Speech & Libertarianism

I hate to post about these sorts of subjects here; but I am finding such ideas more and more neccessary to address among Christians. Almost everyone I run into, and many that I know, who ought to see these matters from a heavenly perspective, utterly refuse to do so; to the undermining of their faith through empty philosophy and vain deceit.

To begin: there was never, is not, and never will be such thing as libertarian free speech.
Every society has its blasphemy laws: whether they be nominally Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Global-Zionist, or Satano-Secular; they all have their god(s) against which one is not permitted to speak, and whose rule one is not permitted to undermine.

This “free speech” was, is, and always will be the disguised tool of subverting a culture to usher in an inferior alternative. And once it has succeeded in this, the mantra of free speech is then turned over into the powerless hands of the authorized opposition, that they might satiate themselves with its fantasies as they fall prey to its false hope.

So then, they who once feigned loyalty to a higher morale now become the subdued purveyors of the ultimate libertatian mantra, “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.” (Alistar Crowley)

Or, to quote the diminished and pathetic modern equivilent of that wicked man: “Falsehoods have consequences, that’s what makes them false.” (Jordan B. Peterson)

The revolutionary spirit is insatiable; and all of its roads lead back to Babylon. Only they who see through its Satanic farce can fully forsake that false song of libertarian free speech for a return to the Logos of God in their own lives. And if these perceptive ones do not reach a critical mass in society, then that society, as it long stood, will completely fall. But if there is any mercy in its fall, then it will split into factions to go their separate ways, as happened to Rome.

If truth is by nature exclusive, so shall its expression be through them that are true.

If you are a Christian, then Christ is your Lord; and His government, to which you are also accountable, is a spiritual theocracy, transcending whatever on earth He has allowed. Just as those who live by the sword die by it; so also those who live by the words of deceivers and frauds will die deceived and defrauded.

If you must be an observer of the “culture-war” or of politics; do yourself (and everyone else in God’s house) a favor, and stop being naive to the underlying spirit of the age, which is coming to an end.

“Faed Fiada” – Patrick of Ireland

“I bind me today,

God’s might to direct me,
God’s power to protect me,
God’s wisdom for learning,
God’s eye for discerning,
God’s ear for my hearing,
God’s word for my clearing.

God’s hand for my cover,
God’s path to pass over
God’s buckler to guard me,
God’s army to ward me,
Against snares of the devil,
Against vice’s temptation,
Against wrong inclination,
Against men who plot evil,
Anear or afar, with many or few.

Christ near,
Christ here,
Christ be with me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ within me,
Christ behind me,
Christ be o’er me,
Christ before me.

Christ in the left and the right,
Christ hither and thither,
Christ in the sight,
Of each eye that shall seek me,
In each ear that shall hear,
In each mouth that shall speak me
– Christ not the less
In each heart I addresss.

I bind me today on the Triune – I call,
With faith in the Trinity – Unity – God over all.”

Patrick of Ireland

Battle Hymn Of The Republic

May such a fire return to the army of the Lord:

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword;
His truth is marching on.

Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps;
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps,
His day is marching on.

I have read His fiery gospel writ in rows of burnished steel!
“As ye deal with my contemners, so with you My grace shall deal!
Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,”
Since God is marching on.

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat;
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him; be jubilant, my feet!
Our God is marching on.

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me;
As He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free!
While God is marching on.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12 (ESV)

Beware How You Hasten The Day

For, brothers, you became imitators of the churches of God being in Judea in Christ Jesus, because you also suffered these things by your own fellow countrymen, as they also by the Jews, who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, also driving us out, and not pleasing God, and being contrary to all men, hindering us from speaking to the nations in order that they be saved, to fill up their sins always. But the wrath has come on them to the uttermost.
1 Thessalonians 2:14-16

The term “Judeo-Christian,” as it has come to be used, is beyond oxymoronic: it is truly an absurdism. When Judaism and Christianity are properly defined, there is no such actual worldview. The appearing of the Messiah forever determined the new downward trajectory of the former and brought forth the latter as its true fulfillment; and never the twain shall meet. “Judeo-Christian” is simply the (historically new) rhetorical cloak of the zionist-imperialists to excuse their ongoing subversion of many nations; it is a trigger-word coined to demonize all who would dare to oppose the modern-day Judaizers, who have snuck their leaven and mammon into the church for fear of the gospel.

And they have done this most effectively in the west by turning the prophetic scriptures into worldly apocalyptic fantasies, which, because they reject the life-giving Spirit of Christ, require a return to the form of the Law that Christ has already fulfilled, as well as the establishment of an earthly kingdom with earthly Jerusalem (which God destroyed) at its head. Jesus opposed these very men in His own day, saying, “If you were children of Abraham, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a man who has spoken the truth to you, which I heard alongside of God. Abraham did not do this.” (Jn 8:39-40)

You cannot force the end of the age. And even if you could, the only biblically prescribed method of “hastening the day of the Lord” is to be a pure and spotless bride for Christ. Whoring around with worldly powers and playing into Jewish fables about the end times will not accomplish that. It may appear to succeed for certain moments, at least for as long as the narrative can be sustained; but it will ultimately fail to achieve such an end. And when the Lord sweeps His true children into a true revival of His heavenly kingdom in their hearts, you will have missed the Spirit. The earthly temple was left with not one stone left standing upon another (Lk 19:44); the heavenly Jerusalem awaits. Take no heed to the rabbis of Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified.

I have come in the name of My Father, and you do not receive Me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive that one.
How are you able to believe, you who receive glory from one another, and the glory which is from the only God you do not seek?
Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is one accusing you, Moses, in whom you have hoped.
For if you were believing Moses, you would then believe Me; for that one wrote concerning Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?
John 5:43-47

Earthly Empires are for Spiritual Whores

I have observed within the ranks of politically aware Christians a longing for the return of the “noble pagan” – the sort of principled men which at times have graced the pages of history in their honorable deeds and not been adversarial toward God’s children.

But it is the church’s own fault that these kinds of men have all but vanished, and she does not see how she herself is the source of this problem. For when she fornicates with the secular power, she loses favor with both God and men. She weakens herself morally, and she sows the seeds of resentment among the heathen, who already do not trust her. It would be enough to be hated simply because of the indwelling Christ, which is her calling. But instead, by whoring around in matters that are not her calling, she actually helps lay the groundwork for the most bloody empires to rise.

Corruption only works one way: toward greater corruption. The mixture of the holy and the profane is by definition corrupt, and can only ever dillute further. New holiness must arise outside of that cauldron and remain there if God is to reward it. The mixture of divine reality with earthly means always works toward the summoning of the beast, no matter what the initial intention. When evil is left to eat itself and holiness pursued instead, darkness ebbs and flows, yet is by-and-large kept at bay. But when good and evil (mixture) is pursued, nothing is left sacred, and all things fall inevitably into deep darkness.

New light shines in the hearts of those who leave this all behind, the eyes of whom are opened to the heavenly thing; but those who will not abandon their fornication with the world are judged as its citizens.

There is only one nation under God; and she bears not her own name, nor can her true form be perceived by carnal eyes.
