Beware How You Hasten The Day

For, brothers, you became imitators of the churches of God being in Judea in Christ Jesus, because you also suffered these things by your own fellow countrymen, as they also by the Jews, who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, also driving us out, and not pleasing God, and being contrary to all men, hindering us from speaking to the nations in order that they be saved, to fill up their sins always. But the wrath has come on them to the uttermost.
1 Thessalonians 2:14-16

The term “Judeo-Christian,” as it has come to be used, is beyond oxymoronic: it is truly an absurdism. When Judaism and Christianity are properly defined, there is no such actual worldview. The appearing of the Messiah forever determined the new downward trajectory of the former and brought forth the latter as its true fulfillment; and never the twain shall meet. “Judeo-Christian” is simply the (historically new) rhetorical cloak of the zionist-imperialists to excuse their ongoing subversion of many nations; it is a trigger-word coined by the Synagogue of Satan to demonize all who would dare to oppose the modern-day Judaizers, who have snuck their leaven and mammon into the church for fear of the gospel.

And they have done this most effectively in the west by turning the prophetic scriptures into worldly apocalyptic fantasies, which, because they reject the life-giving Spirit of Christ, require a return to the form of the Law that Christ has already fulfilled, as well as the establishment of an earthly kingdom with earthly Jerusalem (which God destroyed) at its head. Jesus opposed these very men in His own day, saying, “If you were children of Abraham, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a man who has spoken the truth to you, which I heard alongside of God. Abraham did not do this.” (Jn 8:39-40)

You cannot force the end of the age. And even if you could, the only biblically prescribed method of “hastening the day of the Lord” is to be a pure and spotless bride for Christ. Whoring around with worldly powers and playing into Jewish fables about the end times will not accomplish that. It may appear to succeed for certain moments, at least for as long as the narrative can be sustained; but it will ultimately fail to achieve such an end. And when the Lord sweeps His true children into a true revival of His heavenly kingdom in their hearts, you will have missed the Spirit. The earthly temple was left with not one stone left standing upon another (Lk 19:44); the heavenly Jerusalem awaits. Take no heed to the rabbis of Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified.

I have come in the name of My Father, and you do not receive Me.
If another comes in his own name, you will receive that one.
How are you able to believe, you who receive glory from one another,
and the glory which is from the only God you do not seek?

Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father;
there is one accusing you, Moses, in whom you have hoped.

For if you were believing Moses, you would then believe Me;
for that one wrote concerning Me.
but if you do not believe his writings,
how will you believe My words?

John 5:43-47

The Holy Spirit’s Longing

The immensity and depth of the anointing into which the Holy Spirit longs to baptize God’s children is such that words too holy to be spoken, songs too holy to be sung, and deeds to holy to be done might yet be able to become spoken and sung and done through we as His broken vessels – if we only will allow ourselves to be so shattered by His revelation to us. He would put a new song in our mouths, if only we stopped using them to make excuses.

Jezebel: The Spirit Of Witchcraft

Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Revelation 2:20

Jezebel is an exact embodiment of witchcraft itself. Witchcraft is not merely demonism or the practice of sorcery, though these are often among its methods – but witchcraft is at its heart the supplanting or circumventing of true spiritual authority. Any person or organization which supplants or circumvents the authority of Christ alone over His church, including over any one individual soul, is practicing witchcraft. The one who falsely accuses brethren for gain, or gossips rather than interceding, or thinks to take spoil under the guise of “building up the kingdom,” or asserts herself over men of God and weakens them in their calling, is walking in the spirit of witchcraft.

Saul was walking in such a spirit of witchcraft when he stretched out His hand to enrich his kingdom by the enemy’s spoils, although he had been commanded not to spare even the herds of the Amalekites. And in his rebuke, the prophet Samuel remarked…

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
1 Samuel 15:23

And this same Saul continued asserting himself as king, though the throne was no longer his right; and he eventually consulted a medium to help himself maintain control – for which act he was again rebuked by Samuel, and soon after died.

There is a vicious spirit of witchcraft holding itself up against the people of God in this hour. It is cunning, often sly of speech, and invisible to the compromised. Yet hardly a word is spoken, let alone prayed, against its onslaught. Few are those souls within whom the commandment of God burns with His righteous indignation…

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
Exodus 22:18

Vengeance is indeed the Lord’s, and the sons of heaven have not been equipped with an earthly weaponry; but those who never wield the Sword of the Spirit unashamedly will never see it fall upon His enemies who so trouble them.

All witchcraft, be it directly demonic in nature, or be it the sheer manipulation of others, is a work of the sinful flesh whose practitioners shall not inherit the kingdom of God (Gal 5:20).

We are not commanded to have mercy upon such a spirit, nor to tolerate it. If one will not be emptied of the Devil’s works, let the fellowship of the saints be emptied of them. Jezebel will never go quite far enough to be readily exposed before all: therefore she will always find defenders wherever she is tolerated; and by this she deliberately wears out those saints who discern her presence. Not until she is no longer suffered can she become exposed for what she is. Therefore our Lord warns her enablers…

And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Revelation 2:21-23

A man is no friend of God where he tolerates the Devil.

The Living Word

For the word of God is quick, and powerfully working…
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

The true Word of the Lord is not the broad and bloated instrument that men have made it. For scarcely has the flaming sword left His mouth, and the thing He has decreed will be done. But the “word” going forth from the pulpits of our day is an indecisive word: it is a dull word for a dull ear. It is a word made by the people for the people – and knowhere is God Himself to be found in the process: He who is the True Word. The word of men cannot divide and discern the hearts like a freshly sharpened sword, nor can it winnow the wheat from the chaff. It quickens no man for the imminent Day of the Lord.

Those who wish to hear and speak only the familiar tidings of a paradigm long bereft of spiritual authority cannot stand against the great deception of this evil day. For there arises a darkness never before seen, and the supposed men of God for this hour hold not a spark to its mountainous tide. They even supress any light lest they themselves should become exposed; but they will not long get away with it. They are candles without wicks, lamps without oil. If they will not burn today, they will drown in this flood of filth and be burned tomorrow.

The prayer without discernment and the word without a divine decree has had its day – it has been weighed and measured, and it has been found grossly wanting. Let those who seek to obey the Lord no longer be desirous of such tepid trifles. The ear that fills itself merely with fond and comfortable sayings becomes dull of hearing; and only the word born of a holy fire can melt its wax.

Where the “quick and powerfully working” word of the Lord cannot go forth, His servants mourn.

O Lord, let your word for this hour be found inscribed on our hearts, traced by our steps, proclaimed by our lips. Let us not cease to hear Your voice – even where Your silence prevails – lest we sleep the sleep of death!

In This World You Will Have Trouble

…the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.
Mt 8:20, Lk 9:58

The Lord is our only stay. We have this fantastical image in our minds of Daniel in the lion’s den: where the lions all have smiles on their faces and Daniel is petting their manes. But the man beloved of God whom the Lord ordains to be thrown in with the lions will shortly find that their den is no such place. The lions may well be subdued and have their mouths held shut from truly harming him; but they nonetheless have every intention of ripping at and tearing apart the man of God, and will mercilessly intimidate him day and night. Even in the envelopment of our Lord’s protection, there is every earthly reason to abandon faith and be devoured.

When the Lord our Shepherd prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies, we are no less in their presence. We may eat and rejoice at the bounty of the Lord, yet the ravenous wolves stand across from us, at every moment spitting and shouting curses upon the Food and Drink of which we partake, seeking to shame us from partaking in the table of His sufferings. But the one whom the Lord upholds will not give in to fear.

We shall find no rest in this world of rebellion. We will be afflicted on all sides. Our blessed hope is a heavenly one, and it is one which we yet await. Let our running therefore not be stumbled by vexation with trials, as if a temporary world of tribulation is not worthy to be suffered for His eternal victory.

Rejoice in affliction!

A mighty fortress is our God,
A bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood
Of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe
Doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and pow’r are great,
And, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.

Did we in our own strength confide,
Our striving would be losing,
Were not the right Man on our side,
The Man of God’s own choosing:
Dost ask who that may be?
Christ Jesus, it is He
Lord Sabaoth, His Name,
From age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.

And though this world, with devils filled,
Should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed
His truth to triumph through us;
The Prince of Darkness grim,
We tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure,
For lo, his doom is sure,
One little word shall fell him.

That Word above all earthly pow’rs,
No thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours
Through Him Who with us sideth;
Let goods and kindred go,
This mortal life also;
The body they may kill:
God’s truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever.

The Church & The Sign Of Jonah

“An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.”
Matthew 16:4

What the adulterous body of Christ requires is not a revival, but a resurrection. Yet a true resurrection requires the body to be fully dead. That which does not die cannot be raised. We think that we shall save the church by trying to keep her alive, when it is God Himself who seeks to complete her death. For “unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” We have before us a choice between the fellowship of man and the fellowship of God. We are so eager to postpone the inevitable, even unto the exclusion of ourselves from glory; but the body of Christ is comprised of those who will die to the elements of this world. Let us therefore abandon all hope in keeping ourselves alive in the world’s eyes, and let the Lord be pleased to crush our idolatrous spirit. The Spirit and power of God is unto those who so humble themselves, and He will raise them up.

So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.”
1 Corinthians 15:42-45

Apostasy Quote, & Movements

“The apostasy of the early Church came as a result of a greater desire to see the spread of its power and rule than to see new natures given to its individual members. The moment we covet a large following and rejoice in the crowd that is attracted by our presentation of what we consider truth, and have not a greater desire to see the natures of individuals changed according to the divine plan, we start to travel a road of apostasy that leads to Rome and her daughters.”

– Author Unknown

The gospel which seeks to shake the world but not the hearts of men is no gospel at all. It loves to attract the world, therefore it will gain the world at the forfeiture of its own soul; for the world is seduced by the words of such a harlot. The true body of Christ is never a movement, for such only serves the pride and vanity of man. Men love a movement because it will do the moving for them. Movements are the monuments which mark the resting place of the dead. Man has movements, God has movings. Movements flatter, movings shatter. A movement is a thing, an external item, to be vainly admired and coveted by men; but a moving is a continually active force of nature, in this case divine, which must be at work within and through men individually.
